ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS CLUB

Students in the English Language Learners Club is a place for language learners to use English in a casual setting. Practicing your skills in the classroom is important, but it is not like real life. ... In an English Club, you get a chance to practice many different skills in a setting that is more like real life.

DANCE TEAM

Teammates working together can bring out the best in one another. Dancing together teaches us to push ourselves. If someone makes a mistake, our dance partners are there to help each other out. We motivate each other at every rehearsal so when it is time to perform we are at our absolute best.

CHOIR

Choir teaches teamwork. Choirs aren't about one singer being the best. Students learn concentration, active listening and focus. There's a lot learned during a rehearsal, about every song we practice. Students learn confidence and discipline. Many of us are afraid of being a stage all alone but fortunately, with a choir, we're surrounded by supportive peers. ...

STEP TEAM

The Step Team teaches strength, control, and coordination: One of the most impressive attributes about the art of dance is that dancers make what they are doing look simple. The truth is that it takes a lot of muscle strength and control to execute the technical skills that dancers have to master.

BOYS' CLUB

In the Boy’s Club, it teaches communication, listening, decision-making and leadership skills are central to life skills.

GIRLS' CLUB

In the Girl’s Club, it teaches communication, listening, decision-making and leadership skills are central to life skills.

COOK SHOP

Cook Shop teaches nutrition and physical activity information, as well as cooking skills, fostering enthusiasm for fresh, affordable fruits, vegetables and other whole foods.
